Antarangam began with a simple frustration: too much is lost between the design a client falls in love with and the room that finally gets built. So we removed the gap — and built our own factory.

Founded in 2014, Antarangam is an interior design house with an in-house modular manufacturing unit. Most firms design a space, then hand the drawings to an outside vendor and hope. We keep the whole journey — sketch, 3D, cutting, finishing, installation — inside one accountable team.
The name comes from the Sanskrit antaranga, the innermost self. It's a reminder that we're not decorating surfaces; we're shaping the space where a life actually happens.

Design and manufacturing under one roof means no finger-pointing — one team answerable for the result.
Honesty over upsell
We cost the project truthfully before anything is cut. If a cheaper detail serves you just as well, we'll say so.
Made to be lived in
Beauty that can't survive daily use isn't design, it's a photograph. We build for the years after the reveal.

The studio opens
Two designers, one rented office, and a conviction that clients deserve to see exactly what they'll get before they commit.
The first machines arrive
Frustrated by vendor delays, we set up a small cutting unit — the beginning of manufacturing everything ourselves.
The 3,500 sq ft factory
We moved into a full modular facility with CNC panel-sawing, edge-banding and a dedicated finishing line.

Homes, offices, clinics and cafés across the region — each drawn, made and installed by the same house.
